The falseto duet is back for their sophmore album “Time is Fiction.” Though the lyrics hang on the more abstract side i personally enjoyed this album begining to end. Their instrumentation, catchy guitar riffs, and octaves i didnt know guys could reach really caught my attention. They managed to keep the same band chemistry as their debut album “A Burn or A Shiver.” Joshua Silverberg and Josh Morin really hit it off wiht their vocals this album. Adding a bit more higher notes and a bit more vibrato i really think it brought the band to maturity. Even if their lyrics went down a step from “A Burn or A Shiver” i still think this cd is a great work or art and deserves a bit more recognition than it got.

The only time i will probably ever put pictures or my last name on the internet is on my facebook page. Its more personal because i get to choose the people i want to be friends with and i trust them with some personal information. i would never give out my adress or cell phone number online because all that information can be accessed later. i googled my first and last name and i got some old cross country and varsity golf results and i also found my school paper and records of my name on the A- honor roll.  You should take personal responsibily in becoming tech savvy because if you don’t want to learn about it you wont pay attention if they are trying to ram it down your throat. if you are intrested in learning how to do things yourself its my personal experience that you learn better and faster by yourself or going to ask someone who knows. i normally only include my name and my junk e-mail account when i apply for wesites.

This is a totally synapsis i made up to a story that has never been writen. Our college comp. teacher gave us a goal to use as many words incorectly as we could.

The story I’m about too tell you is an entirely non-fictional work of art; accept for the occasional seamlessly inserted fiction I will through in the story just two keep the reader interested. Just among you and me, it’s one of my personal favorites. The opening scene takes place In a far away dessert long forgot. This place wasn’t just your run-of-the-mill pile of sand, oh no far from it, this was a magical dessert. The farther your lead into it the more lost you become. The only way out is to find every last peace of a sacred map and unfortunately that’s what makes this story a vicious circle. The price you pay to loose this map is two wander aimlessly in it’s sandy clutches until thirst sets in. Then your given a drink and sent on your way, scott-free. If there was one to collect the to peaces to this map it would be our hero. Jayvan was a simple dessert dweller who made his decent from a mountain he was brought up on. Now Jayvan didn’t effect the world much until one day a prophet said he would bring piece to this land. This didn’t make much sense to our desert dweller at the time, but in that moment of confusion he new his calling. He was to rescue those trapt be the illicit mirages in the dessert. The only delima now was that there was no one allowed into the dessert for any reasons. It was an elicit ordered by the town. How will our hero make it threw? Stay tuned as the story unfolds.

The new Relient K cd is definitly one of there best work. It lacks there previous intensity but that gives the album its own unique place in the Relient K discography. It does have the catchy lyrics and riffs and over all awesomeness as portrayed throughout their old music.

I can see how students in today’s day and age would resort to plagiarismas opposed to doing there own work. The Internet is not all at fault to blame it is simply a tool that can be used for and against the education of students. The change in use of plagiarism over the years is not solely because of the development of the Internet  but the work ethic of students is going on a slippery down hill slope.

I believe in citing my sources and took give accredit to the places where i got my information. It’s not so difficult to put into my own writing and put your perspective on things. Someday the affect of not doing there own work will catch up with the plagiarizers, and they won’t be used to doing things themselves. You can also argue that with the “if they beat the system then, they can beat it now” approach.

All considered, plagiarizers need to grow up and find the words they never knew they had.

A real intrest of mine lately has been keeping up with all this incredible music. One of my favorite bands Sanctus Real has released a new single to the world and that single is called Forgiven. I was watching them preform at lifelight and they said we were the first crowd ever to hear this song live. They also played a few other new songs but this one really stuck out to me.

I also have been obsessed with the song Hero by Skillet so for those of you with more hard rock taste this link is for you.
